Trap monster - Gol'gar control

This is a pretty good Trap Monster deck that Turbos Gol'gar. Trap monsters are great at stalling, swarming, and burning while Gol'gar resets all your continuous traps and provides maximum spot removal.

I like this deck for a few reasons

1) Everything is a Gol'gar bounce target in this deck so you will almost always be able to use Gol'gar's destruction effect.

2) This deck lets you protect side deck cards like Soul Drain/Imperial Iron Wall and disruptive cards like Vanity's Emptiness and Fiendish Chain using Imperial Custom. Also, did I mention that all your Trap monsters will be impervious to battle under Imperial Custom and Custom is a Gol'gar target itself.

Basically, one of the biggest problems with Gol'gar control wasn't getting Gol'gar out, but rather, protecting his bounce targets such as Fiendish Chain. This deck does an excellent job at protecting Gol'gar's bounce targets so that is no longer a problem.

Other Great Things About This Deck

With 3x Cardcar D and 3x Magic Planter you will always get to your side deck cards and Alien Ammonites.

Also, did I mention that this deck can run Icarus Atta...I mean...Offering to the Snake Deity! And it is quite convenient that one of our trap monsters, Embodiment of Apophis, is a Reptile!

One more thing...If you want to go into Star Eater, you can tech in Metal Reflect Slime. Personally, I prefer Zoma the Spirit, Tiki Curse, and Embodiment of Apophis for their awesome effects and Rank 4 consistency.
